Jasinda is a Partner and Director of Fund Administration and Client Service. She has been working in the alternative investment industry for nearly 14 years. She began working as a fund administrator for HedgeWorks, LLC and then as an Vice President for Deutsche Bank after the company’s acquisition in 2008. Jasinda is responsible for the overall management, and day-to-day control, of assigned Alternative Funds, including detailed Fund by Fund level knowledge of month-end closing, daily reconciliations, partnership allocations, AML, fund pricing, preparation and coordination of annual fund audits, statistical analysis of funds, their overall performance, attributions, and industry exposure, as well as ongoing integration of new clients into existing daily and partnership allocation platforms. At Deutsche Bank she specialized in guiding funds from the startup phase to the launch of the fund. Jasinda received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Iowa.
Arne is a Partner and Chief Executive Officer of Alpha Alternatives. He is also a managing partner of both Coronado Investments and HedgeAssist, LLC. Coronado is a boutique broker-dealer that has focused on alternative investment capital raises since 2004, where Arne oversees manager due diligence, legal and regulatory compliance, and operations. In 2001, Arne founded HedgeAssist, LLC, which offers additive services to alternative investment managers and funds through its sub-administration (outsourced COO) servicing arm. HedgeAssist also provides operational due diligence services to institutional investors through Arne's due diligence expertise. Previously, from 1997-2001, Arne was a minority owner and founder of The Ultimate Network of Alternatives, LLC, operators of Hedgefund.Net, a hedge fund manager and investor portal that was sold in 2001. Prior to that, Arne worked as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Escondido from 1996-1997 and the State of California as an investigator from 1988-1996. From 1991-94 during his time with the State of California, Arne attended the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and was awarded the Order of the Coif, an honorary scholastic society that recognizes excellence in legal education. Arne is an active member of the California State Bar and holds Series 7 and 24 securities licenses.
Marcus is a Partner and Director of Fund Administration and Client Service. He began his career with HedgeWorks, LLC nearly 12 years ago working as a Fund Administrator and then as an Associate for Deutsche Bank after the company’s acquisition in 2008. Marcus is responsible for the overall management and day-to-day control of assigned Alternative Funds, including detailed Fund by Fund level knowledge of month-end closing, daily reconciliations, partnership allocations, AML, fund pricing, preparation and coordination of annual fund audits, statistical analysis of funds, their overall performance, attributions, and industry exposure, as well as going integration of new clients into existing daily and partnership allocation platforms. Marcus played baseball for, and graduated from, the University of the Pacific with a degree in Accounting.
Mitch is a Partner and Director of Marketing and Sales. Mitch has been actively involved in the institutional investment industry for over 25-years serving in a range of capacities at large investment organizations, investment management boutiques and a family office. He is also a managing partner of Coronado Investments, a boutique broker-dealer focusing on alternative investment capital raises since 2002. In addition, he is a Principal of HedgeAssist, LLC. HedgeAssist has offered additive services to alternative investment managers and funds through its sub-administration servicing arm. Mitch supports HedgeAssist's operational due diligence services to institutional investors. Prior to joining Coronado and HedgeAssist, Mitch founded Congruent Capital Group, LLC, a consulting group providing marketing advice to investment management organizations. Formerly, Mitch was a Managing Director with William E. Simon & Sons, a Partner with Rice Hall James & Associates, a Principal of STW Fixed Income Management, a Regional Director of Pacific Financial and an Account Executive with The Travelers. Mitch has been actively involved in sales and marketing of alternative and traditional investment services to a wide range of institutional investors since 1983. Mitch has a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Connecticut, Storrs and holds Series 7, 63 and 24 licenses.
Louise is the Vice President of Operations at Hedge Assist. Louise has been with HedgeAssist since its inception in January 2001. She provides support in all areas of services provided by HedgeAssist, LLC. She is responsible for the administrative finance, reporting and communications functions. She also assists with the maintenance of marketing documents and other compliance related documents by hedge funds and their investment managers. Louise is from Sweden and graduated with a B.S in Economics-Management science at the University of San Diego.
Nicole began working in the alternative investment industry when she joined HedgeAssist LLC and Coronado Investments LLC five years ago. She assisted Arne and Mitch with the day to day operations of both businesses and in the sub-administrative services offered to funds through HedgeAssist. Nicole left for a few years to be a customer service account manager for CBC LLC. A Costco Food Broker, she was responsible for overseeing and strengthening the relationships between various U.S food distributors and the Costco buy teams, as well as managing over 3 million in marketing budgets. She has recently joined the Alpha Alternatives team as a Fund Administrator to assist with the day-to-day control of Alternative Funds, month-end closing, partnership allocations, AML preparation and coordination of annual fund audits, and integration of new clients into existing daily and partnership allocations platforms. Nicole graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A in Economics.
Product & Technology Consultants
Alpha Alternatives has secured experts in the area to architect, develop and maintain all of Alpha's accounting, transfer agency, manager and investor portal platforms that comply with industry best practice and security requirements. Consultants have a minimum of 20 years direct industry experience working with hedge funds, large financial institutions, asset allocators and fund administrators. Alpha requires all product and technology consultants to have a minimum of a bachelors degree in a related field.
