In November 2021, Alpha was acquired by Standish Management. Founded in 2007, Standish has grown steadily and currently has over $500 billion in assets under administration, administering over 2,500 entities and reporting to more than 50,000 LPs. Together, the firms will expand their service offering to administer hybrid and other creative open and closed-end fund structures.

LAUNCH A NEW FUND
If you are launching a new fund, we assist in the process to ensure your fund and business are structured properly, giving you the best shot at attracting investor capital. We see many instances where fund documents include wording that investors may find problematic, or have terms that are not considered "marketable," or that are not reflective of the fund strategy.
CONVERT AN EXISTING FUND
We welcome existing funds to our administration services. While some see moving administration firms to be as exciting as changing their auto or homeowners insurance, we believe the differentiation offered by our firm makes it a very attractive option to fund managers. We will perform the lion's share of the conversion process, so that switching is seamless, with minimal effort on your part.

Most managers know a lot about investing, but often know little about setting up and operating a fund. That’s where Alpha comes in. We bring more to the table than just fund accounting and financial reporting services. Alpha provides full service, client-centric fund administration, allowing investment managers to focus on their most important objective - managing their funds’ assets.
ACCOUNTING & Financial reporting
Alpha delivers monthly or quarterly accounting packages. We perform “partnership” level accounting, providing investors with account statements showing fund balances and investment performance. We utilize PFS-PAXUS’ partnership accounting software as Alpha’s accounting platform.
investor SERVICES
Alpha’s team works closely with investors to answer questions or concerns about their accounts. We assist with the subscription process, address questions about statements and facilitate distributions and redemptions. We strive to interact with our clients’ investors seamlessly, acting like an extension of the manager’s firm.
audit assistance
Alpha serves as a liaison between the fund and the fund’s auditor. We work closely with our clients’ auditors to provide them with the accounting data and detail they require to audit the fund. Audit support service is provided directly by Alpha’s team members and through the firm’s web portal.
Capital Calls / Distributions
Alpha works closely with the Standish team to handle capital calls and distributions for closed-end fund structures. Leveraging Standish's expertise and technology stack, Alpha can calculate the capital call/distribution amounts, prepare and disseminate statements, and oversee the collection or disbursement of funds.
Cayman Registered Office and Compliance
Standish Alpha Cayman provides registered office, FATCA, and CRS services, as well as anti-money laundering (AML) services, to Cayman Islands domiciled fund structures. Our Registered Office service provides your company with a physical address shown in the public register, enhancing corporate transparency. More than that, our clients can rely on our team to be aware of legal developments and changing requirements in the Cayman Islands, flag any potential issues, and suggest solutions.

Our pricing for fund administration is inclusive of all traditional services. We will not nickel and dime you with copy costs, telephone charges or other miscellaneous one-off tasks. Our compensation is tied to the size of your fund, thus we are incentivized to help you both retain and grow your assets.

Founded in 2013, we are a team of 20 professionals performing administration for approximately 40 clients with aggregate assets of over $6 billion. Our team has over 3 decades of combined fund administration experience, over 5 decades of private fund industry experience, and over 8 decades of investment industry experience. We completed our SSAE18 SOC1 Type 2 after a dynamic testing of controls over the one-year period ending June 30, 2023.
