Sophie Ebanks Gibbs is an Associate Director at Standish Alpha Cayman Ltd. A former Director and Chief Operating Officer for Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Limited, Sophie brings 27+ years of diverse financial industry experience encompassing banking, marketing, business development and operations. She holds over 27 years in the financial industry, both internationally and within the Cayman Islands. In addition, Sophie’s has focused on AML when onboarding new clients and investors, and the periodic review of clients based on a risk rating approach. She has previously served as the Deputy MLRO Officer for Deutsche Bank (Cayman) Limited and has experience in the onboarding and review of a diversified portfolio of clients including complex structures, trusts and High Net Worth individuals.
Sophie holds a BSc with Honours from the University of Manchester and has completed various training and exams over her career in International Finance.
